About Alex P.

Over the course of 15+ years of various work experience from Mental Health services to Food Hospitality and a few extra jobs here and there, I have acquired a wealth of skills that are useful in many different work environments. I have worked on large-scale as well as small-scale teams in places ranging from factories to typical desk work offices. I have even worked under chaotic conditions in Boston-based bars in nearly every role you could imagine short of bar owner. My educational background emphasizes a strong writing capability starting in high school. My education was spent as a homeschooler where I had the opportunity to express my creative side through writing. I took many courses including creative fiction, non-fiction, and journalism. When I attended UNH in 2012, I took additional writing courses with the hope that I could major in English with a concentration in fiction writing. The university did not offer that major at the time so I decided to go for a Psychology degree. Once my Psychology career took off I regretfully put a halt on my writing endeavors. It was many years later starting around 2022 when I continued where I left off. I began writing poems and some short-stories on a writers website. Beyond that, I have many writing projects I am currently undertaking including writing my first fictional book. Presently I have a strong desire to create scripts for major theatrical movies. This is my ultimate dream. I want to share my creativity with the world and leave the viewer with deep questions and answers to some of life's most simple and thought-provoking observations. Currently I work as a Prep Cook at a major behavioral health hospital in the cafeteria department. While this is a wonderful and creative position it falls short of my true talents previously described to you. My goal is to work for a media production company as a scriptwriter.
