About Alex Pickup

In recent years I have dedicated myself to learning all about the procurement industry, striving to understand the various ways to market, and developing my knowledge base on suppliers, manufacturers and contracts. Having started off serving customer needs on multiple levels, I have developed numerous key people skills, including; interpersonal skills – both oral and written, empathising, controlling and resolving supplier/client issues, and liaising with suppliers and clients, leading to excellent job satisfaction. My previous positions have developed me into a collaborator, as well as teaching me to work on my initiative to achieve the best possible outcome of the job. Being a trainee Assistant Manager at 17 years old, I developed my character and gained confidence in leadership skills at an early age; with a proven track record of the ability to achieve tasks to a high standard, and loving a good career challenge, I believe that I would be a great asset to any team.
