As an Office Director, Alex is located in Phoenix, Arizona. Alex has over 19 years of experience in Architectural and Development. He has successfully managed different project types through entitlement, construction documents and the construction phase for retail, commercial, residential and multifamily purposes. Alex is an active member of International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and also volunteers for Arizona Association for Economic Development. Some industry credentials include the Design Development and Construction Professional CDP-ICSC, United States Green Building Council as a LEED AP BD+C and was also nominated and selected by Engineering News and Record magazine (ENR) as top 20 under 40 Industry Leaders in January 2014. Alex’s primary focus is retail and restaurant specific needs for the municipality schedules, working with client construction managers, understating client delivery expectations and maintaining store opening dates. Alex’s team works closely with all engineering disciplines throughout the project to communicate client and design intent. Alex has been a key part in the value engineering process in creating prototypes for several national brands. He has created program standards for new-to-the-market concepts and has managed numerous prototypes for national retailers in locations throughout the country. Most recent and ongoing client relationships include: Kneaders Bakery and Café, Mad Greens, Panda Express, T-Mobile, Echelon Development, Papa Murphy’s, Pet Depot, Tide Dry Cleaners and Popeye’s Chicken.
