About Alex Rice

I’m a Management Consultant with an interest in mining insights from customer data and applying them to assist clients with making strategic marketing decisions. My work has resulted in recognizing over $20 million in healthcare savings for companies and provided quantitative support to launch numerous customer outreach campaigns. Opportunities to take complex quantitative data and produce a clear, concise narrative for clients motivate me. I have over 10 years of experience utilizing data analytic tools (SAS, SQL, Alteryx) to bring clarity to the seemingly overwhelming streams of customer data at my clients’ disposal. My career has primarily focused on both analyzing medical and pharmaceutical claims data for Fortune 500 clients and performing market research to identify trends within the healthcare industry. In my current role, I manage member healthcare data analysis efforts for over 50 clients and am a frequent collaborator with both internal teams and outside vendors in cultivating insights from my efforts. Clients and colleagues recognize my acumen in the pharmaceutical benefits field, and I assist in PwC’s initiative to market our services to additional clients.
