About Alex Roach

I'm a professional English teacher with over a decade of experience. I have experience teaching all ages and levels as well as exam preparations and business English. My teaching style has been described as comforting and light-hearted. I enjoy making my students feel comfortable and secure while they are learning. I have been recognized for my ability to simplify grammar with a focus on real-life examples and applications. For the past few years, my main focus has been developing my online teaching skills. For my DELTA certification, I created an online conversation course designed to promote peer learning as well as self-study skills. I've also taken an interest in teacher training and have just completed my certification from International House. Presently, I'm keen to get back into the classroom to further develop the affective teaching skills I learned from the online teaching world.
