About Alex Rogers

I recently graduated from Truman State University (May 2021) with a degree in Exercise Science, Pre-Med and minors in Spanish and Biology. I believe healthcare is a human right and am an advocate for universal healthcare, especially for kids. I believe growth and development during the younger years sets the precedent for health in years to come and a child's health should not be determined by the socioeconomic status into which they were born. I hope to one day start a non-profit charitable clinic to promote health and wellness in my community and provide care for those that may not seek it otherwise. I believe the skills I have acquired from the dynamic and competitive environment of my university have well-prepared me for my future endeavors in medical school and beyond.
