Alex Rorke is a dedicated environmental professional of Indigenous heritage with over five years of experience in the environmental sector. His expertise encompasses project management, emergency response utilizing incident command system processes, environmental monitoring—including water quality, soil sampling, air monitoring, wildlife monitoring, amphibian sweeps, and fish salvages. In the early stages of his career, Alex demonstrated his leadership capabilities by managing sites with up to 12 personnel. He applied his extensive knowledge to enhance health and safety initiatives and contribute to advancements in cutting-edge technology. Notably, during his time with GHD, Alex served as the Chair of the Joint Health and Safety Committee for the Vancouver Office and the British Columbia Lead UAV Pilot for GHD First Emergency Response Team. Currently, Alex holds a pivotal role with the Squamish Nation as the Lead Indigenous Monitor.
