With a background in law and design, my career has always been guided by a passion for helping others and making a meaningful impact. Over the years, I’ve developed strong skills in personal care, emotional support, and crisis management, and I’m now excited to transition into the healthcare sector where I can make a difference in the lives of those who need it most. My experience as an Independent Care Provider for a senior gentleman with dementia truly solidified my commitment to the care profession. During this time, I provided not just physical care, but also emotional support, companionship, and peace of mind. The most rewarding part of my role was knowing that I played a part in improving someone’s quality of life. I understand the importance of compassion, patience, and understanding in this line of work, and I am deeply motivated to continue developing these skills further. In addition to my practical experience, my time as a Marketing Assistant at Franca Regional Hospital and volunteer work with mental health charities has allowed me to hone my communication and organisational skills. I’ve learned how to listen, respond, and support with empathy—skills that are invaluable in any caregiving setting. I’m driven by the belief that each individual deserves care that goes beyond the basics: care that is centred on dignity, respect, and a deep understanding of their unique needs.
