About Alex Schum

Hello, my name is Alex Schum and I am the Assistant Parts Manager at So-Low Environmental, the Host/Producer of the Autos & Airwaves podcast and a freelance automotive journalist. For my full-time job, I am a Product Specialist at So-Low Environmental, a laboratory refrigeration company owned by my father. I've been working at So-Low for over eight years, mostly in our production facility part-time during summer and school breaks. I've been working full-time in our office since April 2021. As the Assistant Parts Manager, I make up price quotes, prepare & send out parts orders, and answer any questions our customers may have. I have always been a gearhead ever since I was a kid. Back in early 2019, I started an Instagram account (@cincyrovers) to showcase the two Land Rovers I had at the time. Since then, the account has grown significantly, and I have acquired another Land Rover. I later became inspired by several Instagram friends across the pond and started a YouTube channel. The YouTube channel, also called CincyRovers focuses mainly on my 2021 Land Rover Defender - including ownership updates as well as what I like/don't like. I also have done several car reviews on my channel as well. In September 2021, I took a hiatus from YouTube to start an automotive podcast. Dubbed Autos & Airwaves, I discuss the latest automotive news, trends, reveals and so much more. I also have guests on the show, who have come from all over the world to be a part of this podcast. My car reviews have since moved over to the podcast format as well as posting written reviews here on LinkedIn.
