About Alex Stein

Hello everyone. My name is Alex. Located in New Haven, I am a certified professional tutor, having 19 years (over hours) of educational experience. I have tutored students of all ages and all socioeconomic backgrounds. My tutoring philosophy focuses on short-term goals and long-term goals. My short-term goals include teaching the practical aspects of the subject in order to make sure you pass your exams and to discover how you will apply this information in your future career(s). We'll get to the bottom of your academic troubles by addressing, confronting, and (ultimately) strengthening your areas of weak academic performance. My long-term goals include fostering critical thinking skills and wisdom to my students so that they may become wise, mature, respectful, and (most importantly) happy adults.
