About Alex Superczynski

As a Supply Chain Management major at Michigan State University, I have been able to take in a great deal of knowledge, particularly this year being educated on strategic processing and key procurement activities such as contracting, negotiations and cost management. I have been exposed to advanced Microsoft excel sheets and feel comfortable in my abilities to analyze and understand various functions within the system in order to find and solve problems related to cost and supply. Over the last year as a procurement intern for Dart Corporation, I have been exposed to processing new and old contracts for suppliers through SAP Ariba, as well as monitoring monthly supply to ensure contractual obligations are met. I have had an in-depth exposure to SAP ERP systems for use of processing RFQ’s, data extraction for cost savings and filing supplier PO’s. In my current position, I have been involved in supporting our production team through monthly forecasting of direct and indirect materials, MRO and packaging. Finally, Dart has given me experience with market reporting where I am responsible for analyzing commodity markets and providing bi-weekly updates for managers and other business stakeholders.
