About Alex Terapane

The catalyst for me to become an entertainment marketer goes all the way back to my high school days as I was trying to get dates for the movies. Growing up a fan of everything sci-fi, horror, and fantasy, I would often have to be creative in order to convince someone to see something like Evil Dead 2 with me as opposed to the latest rom-com. That’s where I first understood that, in order to get someone interested in consuming any type of media, I’d need to tell them a story about the story, to find a way in that was authentic and true to the content, but would also appeal to a broad audience as well as a targeted viewership. Throughout the years, many awards, and countless successfully launched properties, I can safely say that those early developmental exercises truly helped me hone my storytelling and marketing skills, and also resulted in a lot of fun dates.
