About Alex Trudeau

I have been working as a software engineer for 5+ years, and currently work at VITALL as Development Team Lead. My technical skills include React, TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, and Python. I started out in web development as a frontend developer, and as a result of my own curiosity and initiative I transitioned to full stack development within the first year of my career. I have excellent problem solving skills and a strong commitment to delivering high quality solutions. I am always looking for ways to enhance my technical and professional skills, either through personal research or through collaboration with others. I have worked on projects making use of multiple AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, EC2, and DynamDB to name a few. I have also worked with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Netlify, and work heavily with Jira for project management and Dev Ops. Outside of work, you can find me golfing, playing volleyball, hiking, playing video games, and hanging out with my dog.
