About Alex Warner

My name is Alex Warner I am from Granite Bay, CA, and I am currently a senior Advertising major with a minor in Business Administration at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. In the past, I have worked retail and sales-based jobs. These jobs have taught me skills such as selling, organization, and teamwork. At my most recent job as a consultant at California Sun, I learned how to effectively sell products. I learned that product and customer knowledge are some of the most important skills when it comes to hitting a sales quota.I also learned how to be organized. There were times when I had multiple tasks to complete in a short amount of time, so being organized was crucial for maximum productivity. This has carried over into my everyday life and helped me be more successful at school as well. In the future, I want to work in advertising. I love the creative side of advertising, and my goal is to help with campaigns for brands that I love. I love the process of coming up with an idea for how to sell a product and putting it into motion. I am taking classes such as social media analytics, advertising design, and public relations. These classes will give me the skills I need to work in advertising in the future.
