About Alex Winter

After starting my career in marketing and strategy consulting for nonprofits, I've found a passion for growing the sport of soccer in the United States through my work as a Marketing Manager at the Colorado Rapids Major League Soccer Club. I've witnessed first-hand the unique power of the sport of soccer to affect the lives of both fans and the communities surrounding these clubs and am proud to play a part in its rapid growth here in the United States. Through campaign planning, email marketing, and advertising, I'm focused on introducing new fans to the Rapids and telling our brand story to convert them to lifelong supporters. Through my consulting career, I've learned the power of data and research to fuel marketing decisions and to reach the right audience with the right message at the right time. I take that knowledge into my sports marketing career to deliver fans with custom-tailored messaging and experience. I've had the pleasure of working on exciting campaigns such as the launch of the first official Colorado Rapids App, multiple jersey launches, a My First Match campaign that let local fans attend their first game free of charge, the launch of the Rapids first ever College Club, and more.
