I got my first interests in accounting when I got my first job at fitness connection. I was a member service representative who mainly helped with customer service issues. About 4 months into working there I was invited to help them take care of Inventory and the Inventory books. I would count how much inventory we actually had on hand and compare it to what the system said and fix any issues. I would also calculate how much we sold in inventory by month compared to how much we spent on inventory and calculate profit. I enjoyed working at fitness connection but had to leave due to school and the location housing. I now actually work for a CPA Michael Litchfield who teaches me basic entry for book keeping. I have worked for him for a couple of months now and really enjoy the work. Working under a CPA is a lot more work than just doing Inventory, but it is still a passion of mine and I hope to pursue a full degree in the future.
