About Alex Wooden

Taylor Technologies is a leading manufacturer of water testing products, including test strips, reagents, kits, instrumentation, and software solutions for US and international markets. As CEO, my role is to drive Taylor’s strategic growth thru investments in quality people, efficient operations, creative solutions, impressive support, and sustained profitability – all while maintaining the product quality and traditional corporate values that have earned Taylor’s reputation as “the most trusted name in water testing”. I joined the company as a Project Manager in 2008 with a Bachelor’s in Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. After earning an Executive MBA from Loyola University in 2012, I was promoted to COO in 2014, and then CEO in 2016. Our former President & CEO (Paul Wooden, Jr.) is still actively serving as Taylor’s Board Chairman. My work at Taylor also supports my personal goals: to build something I’m proud of, to actively enjoy the world, to be a good friend, and to give back. When I’m out of the office, I enjoy travel, friends, fitness, going fast, and getting lost.
