About Alexa Castrova

Dynamic and dedicated professional with a diverse background in both the beauty and fitness industries. Currently serves as the Club Manager at Planet Fitness, where I have thrived since transitioning from a successful 7-year career as a licensed cosmetologist. My passion for fitness and the positive, motivating environment at Planet Fitness drew me to the gym industry when i was offered a front desk position after gyms reopened following COVID-19. I quickly advanced within the company, moving from front desk to Assistant Manager, where I gained valuable skills in onboarding, training, inventory management, budgeting, and KPI analysis. My leadership ability and commitment to forming strong relationships with both peers and higher-ups earned me several promotions, including being selected as the Interim Club Manager for Carle Place, NY, and later being promoted to my current role as Club Manager in Selden, NY. Along the way, I have contributed to the success of new gym openings, including those in Plainview, NY, and Shirley, NY, where I also played a key role in presale efforts. My journey within Planet Fitness has allowed me to form numerous professional relationships and gain extensive experience in gym management. With a strong passion for personal growth, networking, and leadership, I am excited to continue my development and contribute to the success of the Planet Fitness brand.
