About Alexa Grace

Social Work and Community Development Professional with a focus on advancing social justice and human rights. Graduated in 2022 with a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Calgary and a specialization in International and Community Development (ICD). With extensive experience managing, developing, and coordinating advocacy projects, events, training courses, and fundraising efforts for an international NGO, I have gained a deep understanding of the complex issues facing communities around the world. As a Registered Social Worker with the BC College of Social Workers, I have worked in healthcare, shelters, and women's centres, providing critical support and guidance to those in need. I have also worked in schools and taught students from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, including refugees. My experiences have reinforced the importance of promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as sustainable development, as essential components of creating a better world for everyone. Having lived and worked in various countries around the world, including Canada, Switzerland, France, and Sweden, I bring a global perspective to my work. I am committed to using my skills and experience to make a positive impact in my community and beyond. I am excited to connect with other professionals who share my passion for creating positive change.
