About Alexa Lowman

Since I was a little girl, I’ve always been attracted to challenges. Challenges bring growth; challenges bring opportunities – opportunities to innovate, to overcome, to change. Perhaps this is why I became so captivated by the energy transition, where, sitting at the heart, is a critical challenge – a juxtaposition between being a good steward of our limited resources and being a powerful force for improving the quality of human life. I realized from an early age that these two goals, seemingly in conflict, could only be bridged by innovation. I knew deep down that technological developments would be required to close the gap, so I decided to study engineering – determined to be at the core of this challenge. My Chemical Engineering background – defined by rigor and grit – laid the foundation I knew I would need to grasp complex technical concepts in the energy / automotive sector. My years of experience in Combustion R&D, Analytical Chemistry, Systems Simulation, Customer Applications Engineering, and Product Engineering have provided ample opportunities to deepen my technical expertise. I thrive in environments where I can problem-solve in real time; I am fulfilled when I deliver solutions that positively impact the product and, ultimately, the customer.
