About Alexa Markfeld

During my first semester of college, I was on the track for business. I realized midway through the semester that I wanted to tell stories; stories that would be about people, places, businesses and ideas. This newfound dream led me to re-evaluate my goals and eventually start on the track toward earning my degree in journalism with a concentration in public relations from Indiana University Bloomington. My post-secondary journey helped me hone my writing, communication, problem-solving, social media, computer and collaboration skills. To me, success means taking risks and being the first to try something new in an industry. It's all about resonating with an audience and producing amazing content and services that they cannot wait to consume. Ultimately, what I do best is help companies create an online presence that stands out, and facilitate communication. The way I do this is through stories. Composing compelling content for social media pages, blogs, and press releases is the result of my story-telling process, and I pride myself on capturing the right audience at the right time.
