About Alexa Moore

With over 10 years of expertise in working with diverse populations, I am a passionate and dedicated educator and career advisor who empowers, educates, and inspires students and community members. Currently, I am a Job Placement Coordinator & Cooperative Education Adjunct Faculty Member at San Mateo County Community College District where I support and reinvent both the Career Readiness & Cooperative Education program to meet the needs of the students and the workforce. I have a Master's Degree in Special Education and multiple certifications, which enable me to develop meaningful, relevant, and current content for course curriculum and workshops. I also have high-level experience in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education, which helps me to understand the state criteria and policies for high-quality care and learning. Additionally, I have expertise in event planning and coordination, where I create networking opportunities and partnerships with companies for job placement and internship opportunities. My mission is to continuously support students with building career development skills and landing their dream jobs, while staying relevant in the world of work.
