About Alexa Pettit

Hello! I’m Alexa Pettit, a licensed Occupational Therapist and graduate of Quinnipiac University’s Master of Occupational Therapy program. I’m a compassionate and motivated clinician dedicated to providing evidence-based, client-centered care across the lifespan. I currently work at Coastline Therapy Group, an affiliate of Ivy Rehab for Kids, where I primarily treat children in a sensory-based outpatient setting. My caseload includes children with developmental, sensory, and fine motor challenges, as well as a smaller number of adult clients, allowing me to maintain a versatile and well-rounded clinical perspective. My previous experience includes treating sub-acute and long-term care patients in a skilled nursing facility, as well as Level II fieldworks in assisted living, outpatient hand therapy, and acute care. I’ve also expanded my understanding of occupational therapy through observations in outpatient neuro rehab, sensory clinics, schools, and home care. I am passionate about helping individuals of all ages build the skills and confidence they need to participate fully in the activities that bring meaning and joy to their lives.
