About Alexa Wright

Recent Psychology graduate from the University of Oregon, with a keen interest in early life adversity, psychophysiology, and stress neurobiology. During my time at the university, I was fortunate to engage in meaningful research while balancing academic studies, tutoring, and mentoring roles. I'm particularly drawn to understanding the biological embedding of experience and exploring preventative interventions. My academic journey has been rewarding, allowing me to develop a solid foundation in research methodologies and data analysis. Outside of academics, I've had the opportunity to gain diverse experiences in roles ranging from insurance and interior design to childcare, each contributing to my growth in unique ways. As a recent graduate, I'm eager to apply my background in psychology and research to contribute meaningfully to the field. I look forward to continuing to learn and grow while working alongside experienced professionals in psychology or neuroscience.
