About Alexander Antonucci

I am a Certified Gottman Therapist, Approved Clinical Supervisor, and Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to providing couples, individuals, and families a relational presence based on respect, trust, and curiosity. I offer myself to clients as, simply, another human being - a context which highlights their dignity as a human and encourages them to explore the potential of a more fulfilling life. I strive to live each day of my life with awareness and intention and I encourage my clients to practice the same. Conferred an MA degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University, I have trained with some of the world’s leading mindfulness and meditation teachers. I integrate the contemplative qualities brought about through mindfulness into my counseling practice to assist my clients in expanding their capacity to handle difficult emotions, find meaning, and create the life that they want to live. Being an educator of systems theories and having been a practitioner of Functional Family Therapy (FFT), I love working with clients and families to help them understand who they are within the context of where they have come from and the relationships that they form in their lives.
