My name is Sergeant Alexander Francis Barada, I have served in the National Guard for eleven years in three different states Rhode Island, North Carolina, and Massachusetts. The units I served in E co 1-126th Av, A co 230th BSB, TSC Camp Edwards, 110th SMC, and now DET 3 Recruiting and Retention Command. My area of operations is Dorchester and Dorchester Center who has a land mass of just over 6 square miles and is a metropolitan area located north of Mattapan and south of Boston. This community is proud of its history, which shows in the participation in numerous community branded events.
