About Alexander Bartee

Passionate about the intersection of technology and entertainment, I am a dedicated Quality Assurance Specialist with a background in Entertainment Arts Engineering and Computer Science. Graduating from the University of Utah with a major in Entertainment Arts Engineering (Games) and a minor in Computer Science, I have honed my technical skills in Unreal Engine, Unity, C#, C++, and Maya 3D Modeling. In my recent role at Onlife, I played a pivotal part in live service operations and feature development for Aglet, a geolocation and sneaker economy game. As the sole dedicated QA worker in a team of about 20, I meticulously tested new items and collaborated closely with designers and engineers to execute comprehensive test plans for upcoming features. My experience extends to Warner Brothers Games, where I contributed to the successful launch of Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, an Augmented Reality geolocation collector game. Additionally, I played a crucial role in live service operations for DC: Legends, a turn-based battle and hero collector game. Beyond my professional endeavors, I am deeply involved in the gaming community and indulge my interests in video games, tabletop roleplaying games, character, and kit design, as well as competitive options and multiplayer balance. As an Instructor at iD Tech Camps, I had the privilege of imparting fundamental skills in programming and game design to students aged 8-12, fostering the next generation of innovators in the industry. I am enthusiastic about leveraging my diverse skill set and industry experience to contribute to dynamic projects and drive innovation in the ever-evolving landscape of gaming and entertainment.
