About Alexander Baylor
Currently, I’m a fifth year senior in my dual major program. I’ll be graduating with a Civil and Architectural degree and a minor in studio art this May (2023). I’m looking to find a geotechnical engineering internship with an emphasis on foundation design and soil sampling/analysis. This semester, I’m taking a foundation course and my individual design task for my senior design project is geotechnical analysis and foundation design, so I’ll be more than familiar with the topics by the time this semester ends. My current plan is to secure a geotechnical Internship this summer, return to Missouri S&T to get a master’s degree in Civil Engineering in the fall of 2023, and then continue working with the geotechnical internship company afterwards.
