Hello! While I have experiences in a wide range of industries, the past few years I have focused on a career in science. After already having a degree in Radio, Television, and Film, I decided to go back to school and mix things up a bit. It was at this junction that I went and got myself a Physics degree. Once completed I worked in the quality assurance of incoming electrical components for an implantable medical device company (MSEI, Inc). I had been thinking about going back (again) and obtaining a Master's degree. Once my mind was made up, I did it. I recently graduated from the University of Oregon with a M.S. in Applied Physics with a focus in Optical Materials and Devices. At present I am finishing an internship as a Research and Development in a group that works with Focused Ion Beam Optics. I am currently actively looking for a position! I am open to both charged particle optics as well as light optics.
