About Alexander Eubanks

I am a Software Development Engineer in Test at Cognizant, where I apply my skills in Java to design and execute automated tests for client software. I have obtained a Master of Science in Mathematics from the University of Central Florida, where I developed a strong foundation in logic, reasoning, and problem-solving. Before joining Cognizant, I completed a Test Automation Engineer Trainee program through Quintrix, where I learned the fundamentals of software development, testing, and automation. After completing this training, I then worked as a Teaching Assistant for this very same program, where I assisted the instructor with developing course materials and providing one-on-one support to the next group of trainees. In addition, I pursue my passion for teaching and tutoring in my part time role with Parliament Tutors. While the majority of the students I work with are US Veterans, I have worked with students of many ages and backgrounds, and the subjects I tutor include things such as Java, Python, and C programming, as well as mathematics ranging everywhere from High School Geometry, to Calculus I, II, and all the way up to graduate level courses such as Abstract Algebra and Real Analysis, which demonstrates my passion for learning and sharing knowledge at all levels of proficiency. When I just don't feel like I have enough math in my life, I have also taught introductory algebra courses part-time at Valencia College. I enjoy helping students of all ages and backgrounds achieve their academic goals and discover their potential, and this has translated directly into my skills in onboarding and training new hires in my QA and Test Automation work with Cognizant.
