I am an ASQ-certified Quality Engineer with 15 years of experience in a multitude of industries. My passion for technology (and learning how it works) and my innate drive to solve complex problems have been the cornerstones of my career. I specialize in driving change management, fostering continuous improvement (especially where those improvements leverage new technologies), and orchestrating seamless new product introductions (NPI). My expertise extends across various industries, including automotive, mechatronics, electronic fabrication, heavy equipment, printing, and Information Technology. What sets me apart is my commitment to being a solutions provider. I thrive on identifying innovative ways to address quality-related challenges. My multifaceted background (including a strong foundation in Information Technology (IT)) allows me to bridge the gap between traditional quality assurance and cutting-edge technology. My current role involves managing suppliers, where I have the true privilege to serve as a leader for change management, NPI, and continuous improvement initiatives at those suppliers, making tangible improvements to those businesses, driving them toward world-class performance. My approach is to foster a holistic systemic-level, quality-oriented, risk-based management culture supported by various industry best practices. The approach is catered to each business to best suit their short-term and long-term goals, from which I guide through necessary changes. I also make sure that every potential improvement or change is evaluated to ensure its benefit. An ideal system supports and provides value to the business, not the other way around. In addition to this, I lead exciting R&D projects into technologies like metal Additive Manufacturing (AM) and technologically enhanced training programs. I am also actively leveraging and incorporating AI and Machine Learning processes into my workflows and solutions.
