About Alexander Ferri

Currently a Data Analyst with Walker Grease Trap Services (GTS) who is the largest grease trap service provider in Canada. I have successfully completed my MSc in Mathematics with a concentration in Statistics & Data Analytics at Wilfrid Laurier University. I have also successfully completed the first of four online courses needed to complete the Data Science Certificate program at the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies. I have completed my Honours of Mathematics and Statistics degree at Brock University. I also successfully completed my Honours Project (MATH4F90) on Repeated Measures and Linear Mixed Effects (LMEs) Models with Dr. Marshall from Brock University’s Mathematics and Statistics Department. I have just over a years experience working as a Data Analyst with the Ancillary Services Department at Brock University, an experience that has provided me with a good understanding of an office work environment and the role that analytics plays in the management of a business. As group leader for several academic case studies I developed expertise in team management, data collection and analysis, and final report writing. I oversaw case studies on the following topics: Niagara Region's Waste Management (see presentation ppt below); Cryptocurrencies; NBA Players Point Per Game Production; and Study Time and Averages on Midterms between Departments Effects the Amount of Sleep Students get.
