About Alexander Gora

I have always been technology inclined from a little child as well as mechanically inclined. Growing up, taking things apart and re building them was always entertaining. Going through high school, I was really confused with what I wanted to do with my life. I needed a job and thought becoming a cook would be a good experience for my life. After 5 years of going through different food establishments, I learned a lot about good work ethic and how to step up to the plate when it comes to completing work in a safe and efficient manner. I started Algonquin College in 2012 on the principle that I wanted to change my life. I learned that I was not going to be a line cook all my life, and I had to make a big change to fulfill the big life goals I have always wanted to achieve. Through these past 2 years I learned a lot of new skills and abilities which have made me grow and find my new passion of electrical and mechanical engineering. After some time of working in the field and gaining some experience, I plan on pursuing more opportunities in the workforce to increase my knowledge and work experience. In the future, I plane on taking up more education to take me to the next level of where my career may go.
