About Alexander Hampton

I finished a Bachelor of Science in political science and history in 2018. Following undergrad, I finished a Master of Arts in international relations with a focus on security. My particular research focused on environmental security and how it is approached by authoritarians. I am looking for a career focusing on human rights issues or sustainability. I have a deep-rooted passion for these subjects and know my project management skills, experience in an international environment, and ability to analyze complex data make me well suited for this type of work. I am detail oriented and work in a structured, efficient manner. I approach issues pragmatically and always welcome different viewpoints. I have always been a self-starter, but I know the importance of working as a team to accomplish goals. Outside of my broad interest human rights issues and sustainability, I have significant experience learning about or working with LGBTQ issues, international organizations/treaties, human rights, sexual and reproductive health advocacy, youth programming, and political theory.
