I have a strong expertise in software development, cloud operations, agile methodologies, and software organization. In my role as the Head of Technology Strategy & Value Lifecycle Management at Vorwerk, I am tasked with shaping the future of our technological landscape. I oversee the strategic governance of our digital initiatives, ensuring they align with long-term goals while driving innovation and value. I evaluate global tech trends, geopolitical shifts, and market dynamics to develop strategies that keep Vorwerk at the leading edge of software-enabled consumer goods. My responsibilities include fostering a culture of innovation and learning, managing technological risks, and building strategic partnerships to leverage external expertise. I work cross-functionally to integrate our technology strategy with broader business objectives, ensuring operational efficiency, sustainability, and continuous improvement. I am keen to connect with fellow professionals to share insights on AI, technology strategy, and emerging disruptions that will shape our industry’s future. In this context I also lead the international Software Architecture Qualification Board (iSAQB) as chairman of the executive board.
