About Alexander Hooks

I am currently a senior pursuing a Visual Media Studies Degree from Auburn University. I have loved film my entire life and am eager to work in that field my entire life. I have also developed a passion for photography in the recent years and have even had my work published in my University's magazine. I feel that I can bring a lot to the field of film and photography. My recent job at Publix has allowed me to gain some many new skills and improve in my skills I already have. I have worked my way into a leadership position and am in charge of running the front end. My customer service skills have improved so much and allowed me to communicate with people a lot better. I believe that a lot of these skills will transfer very well into a film career. Ever since I was in 9th grade I attended a camp in the summer that allowed us to serve meals and give company to Atlanta's population without housing. Starting in 2019 I was able to move up to a leadership position and lead the kids from my church in serving these people in the best way possible. This opportunity has taught me so much about the city I love. It has also allowed me to perfect my people skills and become more of a leader.
