I have an associate degree in business administration from HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College, where I learned the fundamentals of accounting, finance, marketing, and management. Since February 2022, I have been working as a trade finance analyst at Utz Brands, Inc, a leading snack food manufacturer and distributor in the US. My core competencies include deduction management, trade payment policies, journal entries, and financial reporting. As a trade finance analyst, I administer and enforce the deduction management and trade payment policies, ensuring that the trade fund and deduction targets are met. I develop relationships with internal and external customers, brokers, and cross-functional teams to facilitate the receipt, upload, coding, research, validation, dispute, and resolution of deductions. I also process journal entries and assist with trade spend accruals, making decisions that directly impact the organization's cash flow and profitability. I am motivated by the challenge and opportunity of managing trade funds and cash flow in a dynamic and competitive industry. I value collaboration, integrity, and innovation, and I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, thanks to my background in business administration and my involvement in the First Church of Hanover as a treasurer.
