About Alexander Lee

Why don’t we move to Denmark?" That was the question my wife asked me in the summer of 2018. It was a fair question. We had always thought we would begin our careers in California, but the kind of life we wanted was in Denmark. So I packed my life into eight suitcases, boarded a flight, and somehow did not get pulled over by customs. Although my medical credentials were quickly approved, my board exam was scheduled in three years. I had to pivot, so I shifted into the pharmaceutical industry through consulting. I learned to adapt quickly, absorb technical topics on the fly, and contribute from the very beginning. My natural positivity and people skills helped me build trust, integrate into new teams, and grow into leadership roles. Since then I have developed expertise in regulated digital therapeutics, GxP compliant systems and infrastructure, clinical trial operations, and IT validation and compliance. While it is a very different path from clinical practice, it has been equally rewarding. This journey has broadened my skills, strengthened my perspective, and reinforced my passion for improving healthcare, just from a different angle than I first imagined. Moving to Denmark was the first big leap, and it continues to shape the way I approach new challenges. I am always ready to learn, to adapt, and to say yes to the next big leap.
