As a partner at BDO Digital, I lead the one-stop-shop for digital transformation. Our team consists of 250 technology and data specialists who work closely with more than 2,500 BDO professionals in finance, HR, risk, compliance, and change management. We have access to the expertise of our global BDO network. Within BDO Digital, I am responsible for the Hyperautomation, Data & AI unit. Here, our specialists work on innovative solutions to extensively automate processes. Our team combines in-depth knowledge of finance, HR, and risk processes with advanced automation techniques and Agentic AI. Our approach is concrete and pragmatic, with continuous attention to ROI for organizations. Additionally, I am active within the national BDO Outsourcing unit, where we focus on: • Retail Accounting for entrepreneurial groups within formulas, including the largest supermarket chains in the Netherlands. • Financial Process Outsourcing, a service that helps (medium) large organizations redesign, automate, and, if desired, outsource their financial administrative processes. My passion for innovation has led to various initiatives for innovative (online) services and service concepts, including a pioneering co-sourcing and outsourcing concept for administration and reporting for organizations. My career began in 1990 in accountancy. In 1996, I launched the first fully web-based service in the accountancy sector. Since then, I have developed and introduced various online services. Besides my work, I regularly give lectures and interviews on innovation, Hyperautomation, and AI.
