About Alexander Mason

With nearly 15 years in banking and lending, I’ve built my career by combining technical credit analysis with a passion for helping businesses grow. An early mentorship with a Commercial Portfolio Manager sparked my interest in credit, and I’ve been following that path ever since. I began as a part-time bank teller in college and, after graduating with honors, quickly moved into leadership as a Branch Supervisor and then Mortgage/Consumer Lender at TD Bank. I later joined Merrimack County Savings Bank, where I spent five years as a Certified Loan Servicing Specialist and two years as a Commercial Credit Admin. These experiences prepared me for my next step as a Commercial Loan Portfolio Manager with NHCLF, a local CDFI. I then took a brief detour from banking to serve as Senior Finance Manager for Grappone Mazda, where I helped launch a new dealership, establish underwriting procedures and industry specific inventory analysis tools, and train the next generation of finance managers. Grappone was a fantastic experience, Amanda is nothing short of a hero in my opinion for the work she and her family have done for this community and the integrity in which she runs her business. Still, my passion for banking, and especially for true credit analysis, ultimately called me back. In July 2024, I joined Millyard Bank as a Commercial Credit Analyst. Since then, I’ve underwritten more than 100 loans totaling over $100 million, contributing directly to both client success and the bank’s growth. Backed by a strong leadership team that values mentorship and development, I’m advancing toward my next career goal: Vice President of Credit Analysis. I look forward to building expertise, strengthening relationships, and helping drive the next $100 million in growth for Millyard Bank.
