About Alexander Minster

I am a GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) with over thirteen years of experience in the Information Security field. I am able to provide the deep technical knowledge necessary to ensure a strong security posture, and deliver security output to senior leadership in various industries- Approximately six years of experience were as an Auditing, Validation, and Testing Analyst for HPE. Recent projects involve vulnerability management for building automation systems. I have spent several additional years in insurance, manufacturing, military, banking, medical, and governmental security industries. I also hold a Master degree in Information System Security. I have participated as a contestant and continuously volunteer as the Judge Committee Lead in dozens of TraceLab’s OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) contests to coordinate security professionals to help locate missing persons, providing law enforcement agencies worldwide with valued intelligence and reports. I have been described as someone who "you can tell he lives and breathes security" I am trained and certified as a GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), which covers hacker tools, techniques, exploits and incident response. I have demonstrated critical thinking, am self-driven, creative, and curious. I enjoy taking things apart, analyzing them, and putting them back together.
