About Alexander Mitchell

As a Senior Associate at WeBridge Solutions, I leverage my communication and presentation skills to provide high-quality political consultancy services and advice to clients. I work with a team of experienced and dedicated professionals who share my passion for helping people achieve their goals and dreams. My interest in Public Policy stems from my education at Bard College, where I earned my BA in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies through the Bard Prison Initiative. This program enabled me to pursue my academic aspirations while incarcerated, and to develop critical thinking and writing skills that I apply in my current role. For my senior project, I wrote an intellectually intricate paper on the complexity of race and gender in African American literature, which was well-received by my professors and peers. Upon graduating from Bard College in 2019, I became involved in various social and criminal justice reform initiatives, such as the #TurnOnTheTap campaign, the Policy Center Collective, and the David Rothenberg Center for Public Policy. I also taught at The Fortune Society, a nonprofit organization that supports formerly incarcerated individuals in their reentry process. Through these experiences, I gained valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities facing marginalized communities, and the importance of advocacy and empowerment. In addition to my professional and academic endeavors, I also do philanthropic work in underserved communities, in partnership with my partner. We have raised over in the past six months to help people living in impoverished areas throughout New York City, through initiatives such as the Holiday Help Fund, the Lift Women Fund, and the Juneteenth Give Back Fund. These efforts reflect my commitment to giving back and making a positive difference in the world. I am always eager to learn new skills, expand my network, and take on new challenges that will help me grow personally and professionally.
