About Alexander Mogoryan

Currently known as Alex “Yatchman”, I started sailing towards programming many oceans ago. Yup. Way back when I was about to ship myself as a professional accountant, I accidentally crossed sails with Computer Science & & immediately got hooked by IT (Pun intended indeed)! Quitting what was doing was (still) not an option back then: In my family, the word “quitter” was forbidden (and not just because my mother didn’t speak English LOL). Born in Siberia, I ended up parachuting myself to Portugal – the country I now regard as home (*). Amidst my many non-programming-related talents, I can cook, know how to take care of horses & & boats, as well as speak Portuguese with the cutest accent you will ever hear. On my way to hoist sails to my first adventure as a Junior Full-Stack Software Developer, I am now on the lookout for the right tech harbor to head to next. If you think you’ve got what it takes to be my very own “Oh, captain! My captain!”, just drop me an ahoy ASAP!
