About Alexander Needleman

As a dedicated Research Assistant at San Diego Mesa College, I've had the privilege to contribute to the academic community and make a tangible impact. Producing data reports for faculty and administrators as well as providing them with the tools to interpret that data effectively through interactive visualization has been incredibly rewarding. My professional career started as a student representative at Mesa College. Amplifying the student voice sounded like a good cause to get behind, and the invaluable experience I received during that time has changed my career forever. I will always remember analyzing the results of my first survey and finding my first data trends, along with the excitement that followed. My Management Information Systems education at San Diego State University has provided me with a wide repertoire of technical skills and an understanding of business management that can lead my career in many different directions. As a fresh Bachelor of Science, I realistically don't really know what field I will dedicate my professional life to (or if there even will be just one field). And that's okay. As long as I am sure of my passion for IT in all its different shapes and sizes, I can also be sure I will find something I can make a fulfilling life experience.
