Hello! I am a technical assistant for one of the casualty brokerage teams at Amwins. I studied English and creative writing at the University of Iowa, along with secondary education. I have an extensive background in interpersonal communication, previously working as a university tour guide and as a patient representative at RUSH University Hospital in Chicago. During my time in Iowa, I took over running The Doily Allergen, a satire magazine formed as a parody of The Daily Iowan. We covered only the most important news: bald eagles picking up freshmen by the hair; faculty getting lost in the labyrinthian education building; and just exactly who is that man dressed as a chicken wandering downtown? Despite the silliness, my time there has left me with many skills, including the ability to manage multiple ongoing projects and work with cross-functional teams.
