I am originally from Columbia, South Carolina, and attended Dreher High School taking advantage of their Engineering Program sponsored by the University of South Carolina called PLTW (Project Lead The Way). I took 4 years of engineering courses throughout my high school education, and with my pursuit of wanting to become an Engineer I decided to go to The Citadel ranked 16th in the nation for its Engineering Program, known for its leadership skills, and alumni network. During my time at The Citadel, I got the opportunity to lead, be lead, communicate, and work as a team towards a goal. I achieved my Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering working on many different types of projects and my favorite being my senior design project my senior year designing, building, and testing my teams Autonomous Race Vehicle.
