I work at NOVONIX, in Nova Scotia, as a Product Manager. I aim to be a technical expert in our UHPC systems and services, develop roadmaps for our product growth and improve internal processes and communication between teams and customers. We probably know more about Lithium ion batteries than any other company on earth, and we're the right people to talk to if you're developing new chemistries, selecting cells, doing precision measurements or making pilot-scale batches. Or more. Really: anything involving Li+. I previously worked in the Life Sciences division at ATS Automation as a Systems Engineer. researcher in laser machining and welding, with a focus (pardon the pun) on simulating the behaviour of laser light in thermoplastics at Queen's University. I did Engineering Physics in undergrad. I'm particularly interested in simulations, machine learning, integrating hardware, mechatronics, robotics and self-correcting systems.
