About Alexander Scherff

With over 7 years of expertise in ground investigation (geotechnical, geophysical) and over 4 years in project management of EPCI projects, my core competencies lie in overseeing technical and commercial aspects of large-scale projects within the construction industry and offshore renewable energy market. I bring a wealth of diverse experiences in managing complex projects, ensuring seamless integration with cross-functional teams. I have gained several years of experience in leading technical teams of ground investigation or geotechnical work packages. My recent endeavors include leading the Ground Investigation package for the Gennaker OWF, where I've exercised my skills in project management and leadership. The role as a Package Manager has allowed me to champion the management of safety, quality, risks, interfaces, stakeholders, resources and requirements to ensure the project is delivered within budget and in time. Over the past years I have been involved in the planning, scoping, tendering and awarding of several different ground investigation projects across Germany in an Offshore Wind Project (Gennaker OWF) and onshore construction projects (railways, highways, etc.). Furthermore, I have supported the development teams as a project manager in geotechnical aspects in different offshore wind greenfield projects across Europe and the APAC region as well as in the Americas for technical due diligence processes.
