About Alexander Thompson

I am a Wealth Management Advisor at TIAA with 19 years of experience in the financial services industry. In my current role, I educate my clients and guide them through financial decisions to help them be well-positioned for the future. As the child of parents who worked in the non-profit world, I grew up with a belief that my purpose is to help people live their best possible lives. Early on I learned the importance of charity and community. I remember my father going into the hospital on days off so that he could see uninsured patients. He believed that it is our duty to take care of each other and leave the world a better place than we found it. I have discovered that financial planning can be my vehicle to create a lasting and meaningful impact for individuals, their families, communities and organizations, and that with sound planning I can do my part to help create that better world. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona and my MBA from Boston University. My wife and I live in Kennebunk with our 2 boys, Paul and Owen.
