Starting Bayne Ice Cream has been incredibly difficult, it is an even greater challenge when you launch your product in the frozen food aisle and a pandemic is raging. Nevertheless, our company currently stands to triple its revenue from last year (2020). Bayne went from 125 supermarket stores to being distributed in over 800 stores in under a year while creating a new category within the ice cream section, adult desserts. Our delicious alcoholic ice cream was launched to excite and inspire adults that there is a life beyond cookie dough and chocolate. We demonstrate alcohol as a flavour enhancer, you’re more likely to get stomach cramps than drunk eating one of our tubs. I look forward to restaurants opening again and seeing our frozen cocktail creations adorn many a dessert menu. Or perhaps even in a festival in the not too distant future. My interests are in E-commerce and digital path to purchase as well as behavioural economics. In my previous job as shopper marketeer, the consumer decides in less than 3 seconds which product she will purchase and little nudges do make a big difference in my experience. Together with digital commerce I tremendously enjoy experiential marketing. Having organised exclusive private parties for a PR launch or activated a truck at a music festival, it is beautiful to be able to let people experience wonderful moments.
